I'm almost positive that the problem is the bios update. The current board comes with p1.40. With the new Kabylake CPU's, I believe I need to flash the bios to the current 7.20 in order for the board to accept the 7600k. Can I just create a USB flash drive using Rufus, power on the machine, and it will automatically update the bios? Or should I do this another way? I'm sure I could just use a 6th gen and update it but if I can use the current processor, it would be much easier. This is becoming difficult considering there is no video output whatsoever.

In order to update a BIOS, you need to have a supported CPU installed, no matter what media the update file is on. You cannot use an unsupported CPU to gain support for that CPU.
