CPU Temperature Normal?

This is the first time I've dipped into the watercooled setup but I am not sure if i've got it compleatly right.
I've got a asetek 240mm 570LC raidator on an Intel i7 7700K Processor however the average tempratures are around the 50C with just one tab with firefox on. The radiator itself is an exaust with 4 intake fans in a vast case. Just wondering if that is ment to be the right temprature or have i messed up.

50c is safe, but rather high. However I haven't used asetek watercoolers so it's a possibility that it runs a bit hotter.

What I'd like you to do is install the trail version of aida64 and run a stress test, if you see then temps go above 85c then you should stop it, this means that there is a problem, I suggest running a test of around 15 to 30 mins to test temps on a water cooler. If they stay under 85c you're safe and nothing needs to be done, but if you're above that I'd recommend pulling the heatsink off of the cpu and replacing some thermal paste, the amount used should be about the size of a grain of rice. This "should" fix the overheating issues if there even are any.

Hey, I did a test and I am running average around mid to high 80's, peeking at 92c. There is already thermal paste on it, however upon going through the Extreamly little details about fitting these things, I may have f'ed up. The back pannel was too loose so i applied washers however I don't think I fit them to the rear of the mobo... If that is the case there could be a small gap between CPU and plate. if not then May invest in better fans.

The back panel will seem loose when installing it, that is rather normal for an aio, (mine moves around unless the heatsink is pressed on)
You are going to need to reset the heatsink on the bracket though, which unfortunately means you will need to clean and replace the thermal paste. (old thermal paste will lead to more heat problems (most of the time). From what I've seen from the asetek watercooler, I didn't see any washers, so if you added those, that's probably part of the problem.
Once everything is reseated, go ahead and rerun the test and it should have the problem fixed.

The strange thing about this is that there is contact being made to the cpu, otherwise you wouldn't be even able to run the stress test. Does the asetek cooler come with any software?

If High Performance is selected within Power Settings try selecting balanced. High Performance basically has the CPU set to 100% frequency. This can get the temps slightly hotter or much hotter depending on CPU architecture. I don't know if this is still an issue with windows( any version).

No what i ment was, when I first did a test instal of the heatsink, (without paste) the whole thing moved too much, there was no contact what so ever to the processor, where as after two washers there was contact, but impossible to tell how much.
As for the test, I ran every program i had maxing out the CPU, Crude but effective since it came with no software. I am not a hack at this, i've assembled a fair few computers, just none with watercooling so I wasn't sure if this is normal. But I'll take another look tomorrow at this. But thanks regardless for replying. :)

This is a Desktop computer, not a laptop. I don't think i can get those optioms which refer to battery power duration, I think you're reffering to something else but for the moment I have no idea.
