I'm having a problem i have a good pc but not getting the fps i should be

hey, I have a gtx1060 6gb and a i7-7700k and 8gb of ram, I'm not getting any good frames on my pc especially on Player unknown battlegrounds, I only get 35- 50 fps on very low settings but my friend who has and gtx 980 and a i7-6700 is getting around 80-120 and I have all the latest drivers, for my gpu and motherboard and its really annoying me any help would be appreciated thanks

Try doing a clean installation of drivers. Use Display Driver Uninstaller to pull all drivers off, then reinstall only the latest.

In addition, PUBG is in Beta, and is pretty badly optimized. His hardware may just have better support to the game.

Also, the 980, while not a ton better, is still better than the 1060 6GB.
