Currently building a new computer and I don't know on what type of components to get to maximize my performance for gaming and cooling.

The build I plan to get contains the following:

Intel - Core i7-7700K 4.2GHz Quad-Core Processor

Corsair - H100i v2 70.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler (This is what I'm uncertain about.)

Arctic Silver - 5 High-Density Polysynthetic Silver 3.5g

Asus - MAXIMUS IX HERO ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

G.Skill - Trident Z 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3200 Memory

Samsung - 850 EVO-Series 500GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

Seagate - Barracuda 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

EVGA - GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB FTW3 GAMING iCX Video Card

Cooler Master - Storm Stryker (White) ATX Full Tower Case

Corsair - 1000W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

Will the cooler be enough to cool the CPU at stock speeds? I was looking at the NZXT coolers and they look nice as well. Would an air cooler suffice?

And as for the rest of the build, does it look fine as far as future-proofing goes and durability?

Asus - BW-12B1ST/BLK/G/AS Blu-Ray/DVD/CD Writer

Solution
It still performs extremely well, I say this because the site only lists support for their own 240mm radiators, not 280mm variants despite having 2x 140mm fan mounts. This is present in other cases too, most commonly corsair. It still has top of the line performance, not to worry.

I'm not entirely sure, but I want to play games with good fps, not really into killing my cpu.I just want cool temps. And I liked the motherboard and I want a nice one. Money isn't an issue but I just want to make sure everything here works for my new build.

Currently using a 27 inch BENQ monitor and DVI. I will be using Display Port with the new build.

Can you please tell me what the specs of the monitor are?

It's a 144hz benq 27 inch monitor, do you want the model? Just wondering, why do you need it?

I meant as in getting what I want, money isn't an issue. I'm not looking to get two useless titans on my pc. Just high end a bit of everywhere ya know?

True. :)
Assuming you live in the US, get this.
The three fans are for the radiator, the included case fans are the absolute quietest on the market, as is the case.
I've left it open to SLI.

I'm using 1920x1080 144hz at the moment with a gtx 780. I want something more high end with more fps ^^.

My monitor: BenQ XL2720Z

I do own another 27 inch benq monitor, I don't remember which model though.

The GTX 1080 ti would be mostly wasted. No CPU can take full advantage of a 1080 ti at 1080p. GTX 1070 is the recommended GPU.

I should have mentioned, I already own the CPU, Case, and motherboard. Yes I do live in the US. The 960 EVO, yes.. that's nice. I'll get that one instead. I already own monitors as well. They're good. Still can't decide on a cooler.. :/. Coming from a 9590 AMD processor. My brain is fried as far as temps go. I just want low temps for once and for all.. lmao

What about the cooler? I still can't decide. I need to be convinced or proved that the cooler I'll get is the best for this cpu as far as temps go. ;)

I'm talking about the quality material that makes or the case, or lack thereof given the large price tag.
The Fractal Celsius S36 is the absolute best AIO on the market save for a custom loop really, performs on par with solutions like the EK predator for a much lower price.
Given the case you have though, you'll NEED to swap this out for a celsius S24 due to top mounting size restrictions.

Can the NZXT x62 280mm fit this case?

Not entirely but you will never take full advantage of it at 1080p. It will still do better than the GTX 1080 and 1070 but it will be bottlenecked by the CPU.

If you can show me a game where the 7700k is limiting the 1080 Ti I'll be more than happy to listen. :)
Unfortunately that game is non-existent.
Bottlenecking is where one component is severely limiting another.
E.g. A core 2 Duo and GTX 1070, where the GPU would be restricted from performing to it's best in practically everything.
DO NOT point out cases where CPU or GPU is at 100%, that isn't a bottleneck necessarily, just good engine utilization.
Good luck. :)
