I think that i have picked out all of the parts for my first PC, but i want to check to make sure everything will work ok. I decided on a
-Intel core i3 7100
-EVGA gtx 1060 3gb
-EVGA 500 w 80+ bronze
-WD blue 1 tb
-Deepcool Dukase v2 ATX midtower
-Crucial Ballistix sport LT 1x8gb (should i do one 8 stick or two 4)
-Gigabyte- GA-B250M-DS3H-Micro AtX motherboard
Does this seem like a good first time budget build. Any help would be appreciated

Solution
No, they'd last the same.
The G4560 is the same chip as an i3, just lower clocked.
The 1400 list I put above is the best for the money though, your budget is too high to fit a G4560 reasonably without spending unnecessarily on other stuff.
You should get a quad core. This one can be overclock to about 3.8Ghz with the stock cooler. I suggest a 1050ti or a 1060 6GB. The 3GB version is a bad none future proof card.

My budget is 600 dollars. So should i stick with the 1060 3gb or change to a 1050i 4gb. and ill change the ram to two sticks. Also what is you opinion on the CPU should i change to the Ryzen that elbert recommended or stick with the i3.

The reason I suggest either the 1050ti or the 1060 6GB is the 3GB version has issues on games. Last toms hardware review on video cards seen the 1060 3GB perform as low or lower in 4 games.

Ok i think i will transition to the 1050ti, But i am a little hesitant about the CPU. Is the ryzen 5 reliable. the reviews on amazon dont sell me on it.

When i choose the 1600 i am a bit over 600 but hopefully i can find a deal somewhere and get back around 600. Thank you for all the help!

I've encountered no issues with 3GB 1060.
Here's a much more balanced build @OP.

Thank you, do you think that a R51600 1050ti 4gb combo or a R51400 1060 3gb would be better?

Would the i3 last longer than the G4560?
