Strafe (Cherry MX Red) apparently typing by itself?

Just got the Corsair Strafe about 2 weeks ago, and, until now, it's been fantastic for the price. But today it started acting weird, pressing printscreen, spamming scroll lock to the point it's flashing and stuff. My first guess was that it was some kind of weird driver issue, so I went to CUE and update the KB's firmware, and thought that was it.
But it wasn't over, and by setting the lighting mode to type lighting I noticed a pattern; it would type \]\]\]\\]\]\]\\]]]],scroll lock, prtsc, enter, home and sometimes F12(not in that order, but altogether), so it seemed like the random typing would only affect the "top right" section of the keyboard.
Any troubleshooting tips?I don't want to return it before checking for possible fixes.
Thanks!

Solution
Try the keyboard on another computer and another keyboard on your computer.

See if the problem follows the Strafe or stays with your computer.

Keyboards use a matrix to detect what key or keys are being pressed. Google "keyboard matrix diagram" for more information and images.

A defective keyboard can present with all of keys in a common part of the matrix "typing".
