Hi there.

My goal is to have a High-End PC to play Elite: Dangerous in VR (I'm thinking of buying HTC Vive).
I'm from Portugal.

Things I don't need (or already have):

  • . Peripherals;
    . SSD (I have Samsung 850 EVO 500GB);
    . OS
    . Cooler (I have Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, opened to other choices if needed)
    . Fancy PC Cases (I just need one with good ventilation, personally I prefer a MIDI-Tower, but I'm opened to other choices).

Thanks for you time.

Absolute killer build, all excellent for Gaming in VR. I'm not sure if the S340 is considered fancy but you're free to change it. The 7700K + GTX 1080 Ti is about as strong as you can get for consumer Gaming hardware. Added a great cooler for it since you were open to it and you have plenty of budget for even a high-end Corsair dual liquid cooler. This system is all setup for some Overclocking if you do that or want to down the track. You're budget even allowed for me to add another 500GB EVO SSD. If you don't need Overclocking equipment or the extra storage, i could remove the cooler (use your 212 EVO), go down to a decent but cheaper board and remove the extra SSD to help allow for a 2nd GTX 1080 Ti if that interests you but it may be overkill. Hope this helps :)

Here's what it's looking like so far without monitor, I can adjust it.
The Urano TX btw is a rebranded Super Flower unit, is high quality and is good to SLI 1080 Tis.

Thanks for the quick response \o.

The PC Case seems discreet, when I said I dont need Fancy PC Cases, I was referring to RGB Leds / Fan Controls and so on.

In general I'm really happy with the build you presented me and I will pick that response as solution.

Thanks for your help!

The power supply is twice as expensive as what's needed, and it's more expensive than it needs to be.
Various other aspects could also be improved.
Did you see the list I posted?
EVGA also offer global warranty afaik, and their customer support is absolutely fantastic.

I have compared the lists, there are one or two aspects that I can change, depending on what I saw on your list, for example: Cooler, PSU, I have both lists in mind. I got the first answer as Solution because it has almost everything I expected.

Thanks for your time.

Water cooling's overkill, your current cooler is heaps, and the PSU is very high quality.
If you want water cooling just say so.
The S340 will have trouble with that cooler btw, it needs to be front mounted if it is going to be put in there, meaning it will be pulling hot air in, increasing ambient temps. Pair that with the S340's already meh airflow and it's going to be quite toasty.
Edited list.
Extremely silent case and cooler, with slightly better temps.

@Chugalug_
Thanks for the tips you're given. I really going to put that changes in mind, I will do some more research and see the best build as I see fit.

I think I already have good info to proceed. If I have some more questions I will contact again.

Thanks for all the help!
