hi,

as indicated in the title i want to bridge a Huawei B660 to my main router ( a Comtrend ar-5310) if it is possible , so that the Huawei B660 become a repeater

help me please and thank you.

DON'T BUMP!! You don't think someone is waiting for your question to be answered in five hours, don't you?

- Disable DHCP server on LAN ports of B660
- Set LAN port to static IP address of your main router' IP space (like 192.168.1.10)

With this setup, your B660 would work as WiFi access point, and a switch.

I don't own a router like yours (it seems to be sold only in limited markets), and I can't find any information / manual for it online. May be, if you say what you mean by "Not working", we'll be able to help you further.

For example: Were you able to disable DHCP? Assign static address and gateway? Configure WiFi? Access WiFi (even locally)?

My guess is you can't do it. To actually take a wifi signal in and then repeat it back out the device requires special features. This is not something most routers can do. Most devices that can do this are called range extenders or some other name.

Now if you can connect the 2 device via a ethernet cable then you can use it as a AP mentioned in the above posts.

The huawai device is not even a standard router from what I can tell it is a device designed to talk to cellular broadband for its internet connection.

yes i was i able to disable DHCP but don't really know about other things you mentioned and i figured it would be easier if you could see the B660 admin pannel so did some screen shots :
