Hi guys,

I'm looking for some advice on upgrading/replacing my current build. I'm looking to upgrade the CPU, GPU and Ram. Havn't decided on the budget yet. But I might around 670€.

My motherboard is running the LGA 1150 socket. Which has made me doubt wether it's cost efficient to get a new motherboard and a "cheaper" CPU or find a CPU that fits the socket. If staying with LGA 1150 how long could i't possibly stay viable?

My current build is:

MB: Asus MB H87I-PLUS mITX

CPU: Intel i5-4670

GPU: MSI GTX 770 TwinFrozr III 2GB Gaming

PSU: 600W Cooler master

Ram: Corsair Vengeance 2x4 GB DDR3, 1600 Mhz

I'm looking for some upgrade options to choose from. What is your best advide?

Best regards

Patty

As I said a GTX 1060 6GB or GTX 1070. You could go with a RX 580 8GB, but those are probably hard to find due to the mining craze.
Honestly, I don't see anything wrong with this. I would upgrade another 8GB of RAM (not necessary though). Your biggest upgrade will be towards a GTX 1060 6GB or GTX 1070 8GB. Depending on the games, you really don't need a CPU upgrade. Of course the i7 would be good, but I think that would be a waste.

Thank you for the quick reply! Not needing to upgrade my CPU is a relief in some way. Agreeing on the RAM boost. What GPU is my rig able to run without experiencing any kind of bottleneck?
