Can 500w psu run i5-3570k and gtx 970

So idk where to post this so im posing it here.
Im going to buy i5-3570k with z68 motherboard 4x4gb ram and gtx 970. The problem is i have 500w psu. Can i oc the cpu and gpu without burning the psu?

Yes it will work jsut fine since you will probably never hit 350w. However, what type of PSU is it? You want to make sure that it is at least decent quality. You may even want to look at Corsair's CX450M for $30.
