New Build, 2 weeks in to running, something is failing.

After running this new build with no problems for a couple weeks, I started getting a problem.
When running a memory intensive game, my PC will just shut off completely and flicker trying to turn itself back on. After checking cpu/gpu temps and power consumption and found nothing, I attempted testing the RAM sticks and slots, did one at a time and while running a single 16GB module, no problems, every slot tested and working with only 1 module. Once I put another 16GB it will shut down when the memory starts being utilized. Could there be a lack of power to the RAM? Before this happened I had the house power flicker, but the PC is on an APC power backup protector and the PC still powers on so I figured it was still ok, but not sure if I should try to get a new PSU or what else to try. Both RAM modules work 100% and each memory slot works 100% but not with both 16GB sticks in and pushed.

Any suggestions would be great before I start wasting money on something I don't need. Thanks all for reading.

How did you test the memory? I would recommend creating a boot disk of MemTest 86. Test with both modules in. Do you have an XMP Profile on in the BIOS? If so, remove all Memory overclocking profiles. If this deems no results, Clear your CMOS by removing the small battery from the motherboard, while the system is removed from power and is turned off, (Then after a few seconds, place the battery back in).
If you still encounter problems, try new RAM, but keep it mind, it may not be the RAM that is the issue, any number of things could cause this, from the power supply, to the GPU, or even the CPU. Use trial and error, remove components (or if possible replace them with other hardware to troubleshoot) until you find something that either fixes the problem, or changes the way the PC acts in these memory intensive scenarios.
