Hey guys, just have a quick question on my 3-pin connector from my NZXT Kraken x62 AIO cooler. I am using a ASUS Z270E ROG Strix motherboard, and the manual said to connect the NZXT pump thatch 3-pin power cable to the CPU_FAN pin. I instead connected it to the convenient AIO_PUMP connector that I had just near the CPU. I booted the pc into bios and everything seemed to work fine, with the fans spinning, and the CPU running at a cool and constant 28 degrees. My question is: is it ok to leave this plug in the AIO_PUMP pin on my motherboard and leave the CPU_FAN pin empty, or should I move the pin?
Thanks for any help - Aero

Solution
Since your MB already has AIO_PUMP connector, best to keep it plugged in there. Fan(s) on other hand should be connected to CPU_Fan connector.
