Windows not genuine?

I recently built a computer and installed windows 7, I had an issue with bios, so I reset bios. After booting the computer up again, it said I must activate my copy of windows, and that I may be a victim of counterfeit software. This isn't the case as it worked near flawlessly before the bios issue. I put my windows activation code in again and nothing changed. Is there anything that can be done?

If it is a valid OS, then call Microsoft.
They're the only ones that can fix this.

Did you change the motherboard?
Where did the Win 7 license originally come from?
