Recently got a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 to upgrade from it's 960 counterpart. The PC, Alienware X5 1st r3, external PSU outputs 330w, the 1080 needs a minimum of 500w and a 8 pin pci connector. Point me in the right direction and find me a decent PSU to satisfy my new graphics card? Thanks

So doing some research, I've seen that Dell only has 270 and the 330w PSUs. If I want to make the 1080 work, I potentially need to get a new case, and gut the current rig and transfer components to the new case. Then I would get a new PSU needed to run the 1080. The 1080 actually doesn't fit as I would like, I needed to take out the front fan just to make it fit, which I'm not a "fan" of.

After looking at the 1060, its only slightly longer than the 960, so it will fit, and seems like it have the same power requirement. So I'm just going to exchange the 1080 for the 1060 so I can get more enjoyment out of my current rig. Thanks!
