This is by far the weirdest thing that had every happened to me on my computer. Recently (as in the past few weeks) I have not been able to play certain games and I believe it is due to my internet. I currently am using frontier communications and they were not able to come up with a solution to this issue, so now i'm here. The main reason that I believe it is my internet is because last Friday I went to a LAN party and was able to play all the games that I previously wasn't able to play. But when I came back home the next day, I plugged my setup back in just the way it was at my friends house, and all of the sudden, BAM! I couldnt play any of those games again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The games that I wasnt able to run include:
-Quake Champions
-League of Legends
-Counter Strike: Global Offensive

Thanks!

Was your firewall altered at this LAN Party? have you run Windows Network diagnostics? It seems as if the firewall may be blocking the connection to the required addresses. do the games work on other devices connected to your same network?

I was thinking firewall too, but not your software firewall, the hardware firewall on your own router is the most likely culprit, since I assume you didn't take that to the LAN party. You need to check closed/open ports settings in your router's configuration utility, something which has evidently already been done on the LAN party's router.

I have already tried turning off my windows firewall, as of noe i havent run any diagnostics other than malwarebytes and since i dont have a computer other than my own to test that last theory with im not sure.

I recently reset my router (factory reset) just to see if that would help, which it did not, so I'm not entirely sure what else to do to see if the ports are not aligned properly.
