Hi,

Looking for help finding the right parts for a simple internet surfer build for my family.More reliable and future proof for the casual user than pure power, but still be booting up fast later on and require little to no upkeep.

Mainly would like advice on the correct CPU,heatsink and possibly a new gen budget GPU for me to build it all around.

Thanks

Something like this will last you fine.

The pentium is an absolute bang for the buck since this one is a dual core hyperthreaded cpu, what means its basically an i3 but for the halve of the price.
The ssd is 240gb so that should be enough for some data and will boot up your pc in 15 seconds and you can always add an extra hard disk in if necessary.
8gb of ram is enough for years to come and I chose 1x8 so you can even put in another 8 gb stick in the future if you want to.
You can put in a gpu if you want aswell since this pc has a 500w powersupply and the pentium is a strong cpu so you can pair it with a good gpu aswell, the pentium however comes with an integrated gpu, which is good for simple...

I did put in a cd drive but you can delete that if you dont need it, but maybe you do for installing windows etc.
Also the case I selected is pure for it to be there, you can pick your own one ofcourse since that comes to personal preference, but since this is going to be a family pc I thought simple black would be fine. :) Do you need windows btw? Since I didn't put that in.

EDIT:
I did change the psu because I found a good deal on a better one for even cheaper. Corsair cx450m is modular so it's easier for cable management. :)

I know that, even a 150w would do the trick, but it's a cheap model which will work fine and he can easily pair a stronger gpu with it if he wants.

EDIT: I did change the psu, because I found that the corsair cx450m was even cheaper and is better quality.
