Hello,
I just bought i7 6700k few days ago (changed from i7 7700k due to high temps) and.. im concerned about cpu tems even at this cpu..
My PC Setup is :
i7 6700k 4.6ghz , offset +0,12 , llc lvl 5 (1,304 under load)
ASUS z170 pro gaming
Corsair vengance 3200 mhz 2x8gb ddr4 (xmp enabled)
PSU XFX Black Edition XTR 650W
GPU MSI GTX 980 Ti
COOLER Noctua NH-D15 cooler with 2 fans
------------------------------------------
Today is pretty warm and ambient temperature in my room is about 28 degrees.
Temps under load are like this :

At the beggining i was like ok is prime 95 so okey i can understand this, but even in realbench my temps were max 84 degrees after like few minutes. I checked thermal paste, everything is fine, cooler is properly mounted.

There are temps on 1,3v.. when i go for 1,35v they are going really dangerous.. almost 90 degrees.

What should i do? im dissapointed.. before i was running i5 6600k on msi z170a gaming m7 and temps were much much lower..

I don't know what's the issue? extra 600mhz causing so much heat? or its XMP? no idea..

/edit
4.6 ghz on same voltage without xmp enabled

Any1 has an idea why XMP its creating so much heat? :/

Did you ever figure this out? Im now dealing with temp issues on the 6700k during heavy load and 100% usage and its not even overclocked.

I think I replied to your question in another thread. I honestly think starting your own post will get more people to see, therefore more possible help. 100% usage isn't bad. But what are your temps? What is your Cooler? What, if anything, have you tried to remedy the situation? What's the rest of your specs?
