So I built my PC back in 2013 with only 4 GB of RAM (DDR3 1333). The other day I ordered another 4GB memory stick, which is identical with the one I had (same brand, model, specs, everything. It's a basic RAM stick, nothing fancy). I installed it into my PC, and everything worked fine until I started having issues with GTA V crashing (although it was running better with 8GB of memory), and then I started getting the "The extended atttributies are inconsistent" error when trying to open Steam, or ever Task manager. Ultimately, my computer has started to crash completely, giving me the blue screen, with the stop code "IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL". The rest of the time, when it's not crashing, the PC works completely fine. Does anyone have any idea how I can fix it, can you guys help me? Thanks.
