Compatibility of 970 chipset board with 4 graphics cards

I'm looking to get this Gigabyte 970 series motherboard, which has 1 PCI-E x16 slot, 3 PCI-E x1 slots, and 1 PCI-E x4 slot. I'm looking to put 3 Zotac GT 710 graphics cards (which use PCI-E x1) and 1 PNY GT 710 graphics card (which uses PCI-E x8) into the board. Will I have any problems with running these cards at their full advertised speeds?

What will this system be doing with all of these GPUs?

PCIe lanes shouldn't be an issue, but power, heat, and applications could present challenges.

I'm trying to make a multiseat system where 4 people will be able to use it independently at the same time (light things like web browsing). I'm using Linux so multiseat setup will be fairly easy.

Just use 4 matching x1 GPUs (those will work in x16, x8, x4, x2, and x1 slots). Minimize variability.

You should be fine as long as you have sufficient power (use a good PSU) and airflow/cooling.

Hmm... I was looking to get the PNY one because it had a small fan, I thought that might help a little bit with the airflow. Plus it is cheaper. Is there any problem with doing this?

I have an 80+ Bronze certified PSU that has plenty of power - I just need to add more fans to my case.
