My Motheboard has an M.2 slot but my Samsung 960 EVO tops out at 750-800MBps instead of 3200 MBps because the M.2 slot only supports 10GBps. So i was wondering if i got one of those adapters that allows me to plug my SSD into the PCIe slot where the GPU and other things go which may allow it to run full speed so if i do that will i be able to get the full speed out of my 960 EVO or will it still get the same speed as i do now?

Which motherboard do you have?

If, like mine (Asus Z97-A), you're limited to x2 on the M.2 slot.... then yes, and adapter will allow you to run at the full x4 requirements of the 960 Evo, assuming you have the available lanes/slots of course.
