I recently bought Gigabyte GTX 1050 Ti G1 Gaming 4GB. The graphic card only have 1x DVI-D, 3x HDMI, and 1x Displayport while my monitor only have VGA output that only support 1366x768 resolution. So I decided to use DVI-D to VGA active adapter brand Towel. So I installed a clean Windows 10 pro and it went well on monitor but I can't change the resolution 800x600. So I updated to the latest Nvidia drivers version 382.53. But after the installation the screen become black for long time so restarted the PC. After the BIOS loading it gone black. I can enter BIOS but cannot enter Windows 10. I tried HDMI cable on my TV and it appears normally. I checked the Nvidia drivers have been installed. i tried changed the resolution on TV to 1366x768 @60Hz then unplugged the HDMI and tried on my monitor but still black screen.

Here my system spec :
CPU : AMD FX 6300 3.5 Ghz
MOBO : ASUS M5A97 R2.0 BIOS version 2603
RAM : Kingston HyperX Fury 2x4GB(8GB) 1600MHz DDR3
GPU : Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1050 Ti G1 Gaming 4GB DDR5
PSU : CORSAIR CX650M
SSD : Micron RealSSD C400 64GB
HDD : WD Blue 1TB 7200RPM

Any solutions?

Connect both TV and monitor at the same time, then you will be able to make changes to monitor. But I'm not sure if anything will help here - you can't normally use GPU without drivers, and seems drivers don't go well with your adapter or monitor. You can surely try some older version of drivers.

I already tried connect both TV and monitor at the same time but it only display on TV. I tried checked using mutiple display but it didn't detect my monitor. I will try older version of drivers. Btw can you recommend me some older drivers?

Well you have evidence your card works, your monitor works, and everything works when connected directly to a display without using an adapter. So my first suspicion is your adapter either isn't really an active adapter or it's not functioning correctly for some reason.

Since you did not specify exactly what adapter it is, I can't say more.

edit: A quick search of "Towel DVI-D to VGA" doesn't give me an official page for anything like that, so I doubt the quality of that adapter.

I don't think so because before I installed the drivers, it's perfectly fine. Even with my old graphics card AMD R7 250X 1GB also has no problem. If drivers problem then why my TV can boot normally with the latest drivers but my monitor can't. So weird. Any suggestion?

Well you probably right. But before I installed Nvidia drivers, it's perfectly fine. That proof my active adapter works fine. Does Nvidia drivers also affect active adapter? I just bought that active adapter at some store. I can't afford to buy a new monitor.
