So I have watched some benchmarks on YouTube. People with my specs (AMD FX-8350 and EVGA GTX 1070 SC) tend to get higher framerates in games like GTA 5, battlefield 1, etc. and most of the time their settings are set higher than mine. I am wondering if my CPU is dying or if it's a problem with my GPU. Here is a list of my full specs:

CPU: AMD FX 8350
GPU: EVGA GTX 1070 SC
RAM: CORSAIR VENGEANCE 16GB DDR3
PSU: ANTEC ALL-IN-ONE 900W
MOTHERBOARD: M5A99X EVO R2.0 (PCI.E 2)

Here is a video of my cpu and gpu usage (cpu cores are unparked and my settings are set to optimal by geforce experience):

IMPORTANT: So my question is: is it normal to be getting these framerates? Which component might be responsible for this? And how do I improve the situation? Thanks! :)

sounds about right

you have a good gpu with a mediocre cpu, in a cpu bound game

youtube is not a place for reputable fps benchmarks, most are lying about their fps and settings
what FPS are you getting?

Also, GTA5 is CPU intensive, so the 8350 isn't going to knock that out of the park. It's close to an i3 in performance. BF1 will do a little better, because it relies on multiple cores.

Also also, don't let GFE set your settings for you. They're almost always wrong. For example, they'll recommend anti-aliasing in a lot of games, and all that does is smooth out jagged lines a little. To do that, it smashes your frame rate. So you're not getting a lot in return for using a setting like that.

Yes, but other people are getting constant 60 fps and above with higher graphics and they have the same specs as me. I suspect there is something wrong with one of my PC components.

Turn off FXAA, MSAA, Post FX, and turn Aniostropic filtering to 4x. See what that does to your frames
