Games crash due to low VRAM (GTX 1060 6GB)

Hi, sometimes while i'm playing a high graphic game they randomly crash and say my vram isn't enough.
I've only encountered this at Battlefront and Playerunknown's Battlegrounds for now.
I'll try to get a screenshot of the crash report when it happens again but this didn't happen before and I have this card for 9 months now.

I have 6700K and 16GB of ram.

About battlefront..did you increase the resolution scaling too much maybe?That caused vram crashes on my old R9 280 and about PUBG well it's just really unoptimised and everyone is having issues.If your res in battlefront is 1080p increasing the resolution scaling to 200% basically makes the game run in 4k so that could be the cause.

Even 1070 and 1080 has troubles with this game. It's unoptimised, it's not the GPU's fault.
