I know there are a lot of threads like this, none seem to be close enough to my problem though. my system runs very well usually and also cool (cpu wont pass 40c under load). but just recently without me doing any physical changes to it, all the games i usually play flawlessly will now just stop along with the audio leaving me having to hold the power button or press the reset. i cant alt tab or open ctrl+alt+delete or anything. ive run memtest86 with no faults (i didn't finish the first full sweep so thats something i need to run while im at work tomorrow) i always check event log to no avail, it just tells me that the system shut down unexpectedly. ive pretty much thinned it down to a hardware problem by formatting my hdd and ssd and putting fresh windows on with older drivers that work best with my g-card. but many people say if it was my card i wouldn't see anything, also it wont pass 82c while the max is 97c(all temps are fine i use hwmonitor/afterburner/core temp). ive checked psu voltages also they seem to be in order. I'm currently thinking possibly motherboard or processor but theyre both new and i have a h100i for my cpu. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

im glad you say that because that psu is new(to me) the computer shop in town sold it to me for $65 i was pumped at first but i knew it sounded too good to be true. any clue how to test that? i dont want to just grab a new psu if it isnt the reason because i used to power the same rig on a corsair 430w.

Well the psu is bad and if the system worked on a 430w corsair psu then get a new one from a good brand.
