Is 650w enough?

Solution

Definitely. One of the best PSU around. The EVGA SuperNOVA G2 series is based on the Super Flower's Leadex Gold platform (one of the best OEM in the PSU business). The PSU is fully modular (so you'll only need to use cables that you need), has ample PCIe connectors for your GPU, uses great quality components, very good build, low noise, handles temps well (50C oper. temp rating), very efficient, and has 7-year warranty.

You won't go wrong with that PSU if you consider purchasing the SuperNOVA G2 or G3 instead of the Corsair CXM series.

The Corsair CX650M is a decent PSU and way more than enough for your entire system. But since the price is only ~$60 (much cheaper than the CX550M at ~$65), it's a good choice.

If you want a much better quality, with sufficient amps/wattage (even with OC), consider the EVGA SuperNOVA G2/G3 550 (550W) - but the price is much greater (around ~$80).

I have to ask why buy the non-WiFi Strix 270F model for $174 and then spend $37 on a PCIe WiFi card when you can just buy the Strix 270E with built in WiFi for $200 and free up a PCIe slot for maybe a sound card down the road? Otherwise they are essentially identical. While onboard sound has gotten many times better over the years, it's still nowhere near a dedicated sound card. Also the E model sockets supports Intel's M.2 Optane memory tech.

Finally as others have said, the PSU is mediocre at best. I'd recommend the higher quality EVGA G3 series over CXM for a little more. This is an expensive build. Why go cheap on the PSU?

Whether spending a few extra bucks on a modular PSU is worth it to you is entirely a personal preference. Personally, I do not mind tucking all unused hard-wired cables behind my motherboard's tray or zip-tying it in unused drive bays.
