Strange CPU temps?

Hey guys!
4 days ago I just built my first gaming PC.
I have a i7 7700k, h115i as cooler and h440 as case.

At first I put the cooler's backplate wrong (90 degrees turned) and I had temps of 70-80 at load and 35-40 at idle. I put the cooler back as correctly, reapplied thermal paste and turn on PC.
Strangely temps are ~60 at idle, and they go ~70 (max 75 as I have seen when I rendered some videos). Liquid temps stay 34-34.5 at idle and they go to 36-37 (maybe 38, can't remember) at load. Cooler's radiator is on top set as exhaust. I have 3 fans (with cooler) as exhaust and 3 as intake.

What could possibly go wrong here?

Didn't mention before, I also have a gtx 1080 turbo, which doesn't blow air upwards(if this could help)

Solution
try making the radiator intake from front
as making it as an exhaust will take the hot air front the gpu and not cool the cpu
and are you sure you applyed thermal paste right?
