Hi guys. this my current setup right now (see screenshot below) but i was hoping to get some inputs from the experts here. and yeah my GPU is crappy as for my RX460 suddenly don't work anymore for some unknown reason. so i was planning to upgrade it to 1060 but not sure if i go for 3gb or 6gb variant. but before i do that i was hoping if there are things that i need to change in my current setup? BTW my PSU is corrsair vs550. and i'm not overclocking also. just regular gaming/coding purposes only. thanks in advance guys

Solution
No need to change anything, that psu can easily power a 1060, and the i5 is a good match with it aswell.

Though what is the problem with your rx460? Maybe we can help fix that, so you dont have to spend money.

That's cool.
basically i run through this issue couple months ago(see screenshot below), then when i open my PC it opened but no display on my monitor. tried cleaning up may be dust or something but still no display, so i tried other monitor (a VGA port) plug it in to my integrated graphic and it works. not sure if that is the reason why my GPU is no longer working, i tried uninstalling my drivers using display driver uninstaller but still the same, before the fans of my GPU is spinning when i turn on my computer but after running to the issue where there's no display when i open my pc, i notice that the fan is no longer spinning, there still light on the logo of the GPU so i assume that the power is running through it, so right now i really don't know what happened not sure if it's because of that blue screen thing or maybe the GPU has issue, that's why i'm planning for upgrade but i worry the most this might happen again that's why i ask here if i need to change some of my computer parts. BTW i have Sapphire nitro RX460 4gb OC.

PS: GPU is only 7 months old

Do you maybe have any type of recording software on your pc? I read that there could be some kind of overlapping with software what makes it crash.

If not did you try to update or reinstall the drivers of the graphics card?

Since you've mentioned it, I have fraps installed and xsplit for video recording, did some couple of live streaming before but i stopped it because it eats up a lot of bandwidth in my internet. anyway yeah i have recording.

About drivers it always up to date, what i haven't tried is reinstalling the driver of the GPU but i might give a try again using the DDU, i tried this but i didn't go on safe mode and didn't worked so maybe i'll try it in safe mode again.
