Hi there I just joined the forum in the hopes of maybe getting some help in resolving the issue i'm having with my pc atm.
My specs are
gigabyte z170x gaming 5
Gigabyte geforce 980ti g1 gaming edition
i7 6700k
16gb ram
So my pc is fine normally and as per core temp now my temps are 24 24 23 and 25
I checked while gaming and these reached about a max of 50
but my pc feels hot when gaming and like i said it shuts off after a while.
Now i noticed recently that there was a cable stuck in one of the fans of my CPU cooler which is a noctua dh14 i was not gaming for the most part when this happend.
i only tried to play a game for the first time a few days ago and when it shut down i examined the pc and found that one of the fans was not spinning.So I moved the cable and the fan spun again problem solved right?
Nope it keeps doing the same thing after less than 10 mins or so it will shut down without warning just completely off.
My cpu temps did appear normal so i thought everything was fine the gpu did feel slightly hot i guess.
Anyway I have been trying to figure out what the problem is but i have no idea
If someone could help me I would be so grateful
