Hello, im building a new pc , im using new cpu,ram,motherboard,watercooling etc, but im gonna use my old HDD , i wanna know if i need to reformat my hdd, and if i need to i wanna know how to do it. i do not need any files to backup. should i reformat it with DBAN as i see on YouTube or im good to go?

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+ (2.1) GHz
GPU: Asus GT-740
Motherboard: MSI 7260 (old as fck)
RAM: x4 of DDR2 2 GB (unknow company)
My NEW build:
CPU: Intel Core i7 7700K (4.20) GHz
GPU: (same)
Motherboard: Asus Z170 Pro Gaming
RAM: x1 DDR4 Corsair 8GB
