Hello
I just installed a 4 TB HDD onto my system.
But its not working.
I am using a i5 6600k CPU with MSI krait z170A with bios 7984vAD.
I have already enabled legacy + Uefi mode. When i click onl uefi, the system wont boot and gets into a restart loop.

http://prntscr.com/fmg2lp this is the pic of the disk management of my PC.
OS is Win 10 pro 64 bit, which is on a 250 GB SSD.

The system has 3 drives in total.
250 GB SSD (OS Drive)
2 TB HDD
4TB HDD( new one)

All the options except properties and offline are grayed out in the menu when right clicking on the 4 TB drive

Thanks for the reply.
The HDD doenst have any jumpers installed.
After uefi mode enabled, the list doesnt show any names , it just says uefi HDD, uefi USB etc

1) I'm not sure why you have your 2TB HDD with dynamic partitions for using all of its space. But that is not the issue at hand.

2) Was the 4TB HDD brand new or just new to you?

3) Here is some help with that GPT Protective Partition that is causing issues,

https://www.partitionwizard.com/partitionmagic/gpt-protective-partition.html
http://www.disk-partition.com/gpt-mbr/gpt-protective-partition.html

4) Also make sure "Disk 1" is your boot drive.

As shrapnel... has pointed out your problem is that the 4 TB HDD is GPT-Protective-Partitioned; possibly the disk had been formatted in an XP environment. Since the drive contains no data it's simple enough to resolve the problem. Just invoke the "clean" command in the DiskPart utility. If you haven't used DiskPart before just do a Google search on "using clean command in diskpart", and you'll get detailed instructions.

After the drive has been "cleaned" you can initialize it with the GPT-partitioning scheme.

Okay, you got me there... My mind frame only locked on the Master/Slave/CS options... and that since, what was it.... 20GB? (the previous division point where FAT32 hit the wall) have all but disappeared and 2TB HDDs and smaller don't have much use for capacity limit "switches" (what jumpers are in essence) the other jumpers had slipped my mind,

The HDD is brand new, but i used it via as an external HDD via adapters (Similar to this https://www.ebay.com/p/Silver-3-5-USB-SATA-External-Hard-Disk-Drive-160gb-HDD-Enclosure-Power-Cable/1500219755?iid=401130207495)
I used it to take backup from a failing drive. Now the HDD has about 500 GB worth of important data.

The old 2 TB was first partioned as 3 Drives for easy sorting, later i merged all drives to one, resulting in the dynamic state of the HDD.

Since it contains data, i am unable to format it, also all the options are grayed out except offline and properties

It talks about a way to fix it so you can retrieve your data AND fix the problem. (after how they talk about how to just fix the drive while losing any data on it.)
