I was stupid enough to install a bunch of games and programs onto a new laptop without realizing I was installing unto my windows c: and not my 1tb d: . . . this is my first time I've bumped into this problem and am asking for any assistance in which I can transfer a few steam and a few non-steam games over to my d: Good thing my c: ssd isn't massive, only around 50-100 GB of software should be worthwhile to remove. Undergoing this process over a few days is fine by me or any other software I should consider installing to speed up the process, please inform me of. Thanks in advance.

The Steam games are easy - just cut everything out of the steamapps/common folder, paste them in the folder on the new drive, and then add that folder as a library in the Steam app. Also, if there are just a few games, you can right click the game, Click the “Local Files” tab and click the “Move Install Folder” button. Select the Steam library you want to move the game to and click the “Move Folder” button.

For non-steam games...most of the time, you have to just back up the save files and reinstall.

Steam > Settings > Downloads and click the Steam Library Folders button. This will open a window with all your current Steam Library folders. Click the "Add Library Folder" button and select the folder with your installed games.
