Hello everyone, I have an emachines t3256 in which I want to upgrade the processor, from an AMD Athlon 3200+ 1.1Ghz to an AMD Athlon 3200+ 2.2Ghz. I've already bought and tried the processor, but when I put it in, the computer acts like it is running but I get no picture. Num lock doesn't work either, and the hard drive doesn't sound like it's reading. Is there anything special I need to do while installing the processor into this computer, or is this a technical issue such as bios, or a faulty processor? The motherboard is an emachines au31, and I have a fairly new 400 watt power supply. I've also tried removing my onboard cards. Anyone know how to fix this?

The model number on the 2.2Ghz model is t078252h40816, the 1.1Ghz is t092602i40281. I'm not exactly sure if these are the model numbers because there are a lot of sets of numbers at the bottom, but these were the only two that weren't identical. The only thing that brought up results on google was axda3200dkv4e, which is on both. Also, my Bios is tcb432c.
