I was going to buy a gaming PC but since im on a low budget my girlfriend is giving me her old FX 6300 to help with money and im buying an RX 560 4GB. However, the store that i am going to buy the components has little to offer when it comes to DDR3 and i wanted 2x 4GB, but the only 4GB sticks they have in stock look " ancient " and low quality and i know this is not about looks but i've never seen someone using this kind of RAM " tier ", the rest of the DDR3 sticks are only 8GB and go around 52 Euros instead of the 41 Euros for the dual channel that im planning on buying since i was told that i should really run dual channel with the specs i have and single channel was a no go so i wanna know if it is any good?

Search this on Google: Crucial DDR3 4GB DIMM 240-PIN 1600MHz PC3-12800 CL11 [CT51264BD160BJ]

DDR3 1600 is pretty typical of that hardware generation.

Dual channel is slightly better, basically allows the system to write to two sections at once, when possible, and improves speed slightly.

The advantage of a single larger stick is that you leave yourself open to future upgrades, but that does mean mixing sticks, which doesn't always work. Best to buy matching pairs.

Not great memory due to the higher timings, but if you are talking about a lack of heatspreaders, memory doesn't actually need them, they are at such a low voltage compared to when memory heatsinks started popping up that it is mostly marketing and looks.

That is also DDR3L (1.3v) which runs at an even lower voltage than stock DDR3 (1.5v)

It will work, and it won't adversely effect your gaming experience if that is your concern.

So they won't really affect gaming performance right? What would poor quality RAM affect?
And should i really run dual channel? Should i buy those 2 cheap 4gb ram sticks or go for a higher quality 8gb one?
