I have a 4790k insalled on maximus vii formula. The cooler is noctua nh-d15s, case is thermaltake urban t81 with stock coolers. Thermal compound is mx-4. After changing thermal compound (early used noctua stock compound) I ran aida 64 and got thermal throttling up to 20%. After removing front door and dust mesh from front and top themps droped to 92 degree. But I still think its to high. It s about 26-30 degree in room, can I have some advices, what should I do?

Vcore is 1.266 and everything was new back in autumn 2015 when I bought It. But I didnt use this pc alot until autumn 2016. Also I just noticed, that I have such high temps only if I select fpu stress only, if I choose both cpu and fpu the pic temps are about 83 degree.

Temperature is too high if your CPU is not overclocked, nh-d15s is best air cooler, make sure u mounted your cooler or applied thermal paste properly. What is your case and how many/where u placed case fans.

Case is thermaltake urban t81, it has 2 200mm fans on intake and one 200mm and one 140mm on exhaust. Intake is on front panel and exhaus on top and back side. Actually I didnt change fans, so everything is default.
