Multiple printer options problem

Here is my situation: reports done on a field laptop are brought into an office where 3 identical HP printers are used to print via USB. Is there a way to create a single printer option instead of installing all 3 separately?

Solution
Have you looked into implementing a print server? They have the capability of prioritizing print jobs so that printers don't get overloaded, etc. Another idea would be to assign groups of your staff to use a single printer, and break up the max potential load on a single printer that way.

Are the drivers for all three of them already installed on the laptop? If so, you can just disable the printers you don't want to use, or select a default printer out of the three. I'm not quite sure I'm understanding what it is you want done though.. if you don't want to have three printer options, just use one of them and forget about the other two.

I'm trying to eliminate the need for 3 separate printer choices since at any time the other printers might be in use or out of service. If I can create a single printer option, so no matter what printer of the 3 is selected the reports will print, I will alleviate a headache for my staff.
