Hi, I've perused a few posts on this forum (especially regarding the Windows.edb and Windows Search Function, which I've deleted and disabled respectively) regarding SSD drives suddenly losing memory. Mine changes day to day, I go from 255 kb to 27 mb. I've used WinDirStat and it claims I'm using 69 gbs out of my C drive's 109 gbs. I hardly have anything on this computer so I'm confused as to where all this space has gone. I've done disk cleanups, I've deleted temporary internet files, etc. I've also scanned with Kaspersky. Can anyone help me find where my missing space has gone? I'd really appreciate any help I could get.

Specs:
HP Compaq Elite 8300 All-in-One PC
Intel Core i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40 GHz
RAM: 8 gbs
System Type: 64 bit operating system
Windows 7

Windows takes a lot for sure. Check how much your recycle bin takes. I set mine to 500MB's. Right click recycle bin and select property's to manually set how much space is used. Default I think is 10% so its taking 12GB's possibly. Turn off indexing to save some space. Set your download folder to a hard drive. Here is more suggestions but only do those you understand.

Thank you. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find any helpful information in that thread. I have system restore disabled, the recyle bin was only using like 1 gb and even when I changed it I gained no space in my C:. Seriously, every time I check I have a different amount of space. I'm sure there are so programs screwing with it but I don't know what. Any other ideas?
