Hi there,
After playing CS:GO on my own PC (i5-3470 & R9 290X) and the one I built for my grandparents (i3-6100 & RX 460), I noticed that I could get a smooth consistent 200+ FPS on the i3, while my i5 sometimes struggles to keep it above 110... I know it's not because of the CPU, since the i5-3470 is, although being quite old, still the faster of the two, and don't even get me started on which GPU is faster.
Ok so my point; After reading about it on other fora and after experiencing it myself, I think that RAM speed (CAS & MHz) matters quite a bit when playing CS:GO.
And now my question: Can I overclock my RAM on an ASrock H61M-VG4 motherboard that officially only supports up to 1600MHz? My RAM is a 2x4GB kit of 1866MHz HyperX Fury DDR3.
