I just bought a new PC with a Ryzen 5 1600 processor and an rx 480 8gb.
It also contains 2x8gb 3200 mhz ram
But as soon as i enter any city in any game it just laggs.
I get 35 fps on gta and 40 in arma 3
Is there anyway to fix this or do i need to update something.

Thanks in advance

PS I'm not really well with computers.

I already disabled it with no changes
do i need certain drivers i dont know of?
i have a be quiet! system power b8 550w

Usually Windows will download the ones you need, but make sure you have the latest drivers from AMD, and hit start and go to device manager to see if anything in there has a yellow or red symbol (right click and hit update if it does, may need reboot)

thanks for the help i think everything is up to date.. i guess ryzen is a joke
I also heard that ryzen wont take up all the 3200mhz of ram or something.
i updated the bios and switched the frequency manual to 3200mhz but no changes

I installed windows through a bootable usb on my ssd if thats what you mean

Ok Ryzen is very good, that's not the problem. Some games do require updates though otherwise they don't perform well, these games are not pirate copies?

Are all motherboard and gpu drivers?

When the fps drop happens what is your gpu usage and are any CPU cores/threads hitting 100%?

I think my stuff is up to date but im not sure
I have a MSI b350 PC Mate and a RX480 8gb from XFX

can you maybe send me a link of all the drivers and which i need to install?

No i never pirate games haha

The CPU hits 100 percent
But the memory clock is stuck at 2000 mhz im not sure if thats bad or just what its supposed to be

Ok after a quick Google it looks like Arma 3 is a game that doesn't utilise Ryzen CPU's properly and I cannot see a reference to a update.
