Hello
Not sure if I am in the right section or I I can even get help on this. If not I do apologize.
I have received the firmware update email for my Netgear Nighthawk router. I followed the link and all the links given to log in it will not connect to the router's network.
I tried with the Netgear Genie too no matter where and what it keeps telling me: "you are not connected to your router's wifi network."
The genie says: “Netgear router is not found or is not supported.” All my devices are connected, my tablets, phones, laptops, PS4 they all have internet access through the Nighthawk router. I have restarted, reset both modem, router, and PC but still, it does not work. Looked in the CMD and typed IPCONFIG in there it lists all for Comcast.
My Netgear router is model # R700 Ac 1900 Smart Wifi. I have Comcast and their latest modem.
Any chance someone can tell me why it is doing this and how to fix it?
Thanks,
Tina

Login to your router typically by typing in on the web browser address bar '192.168.1.1' while using the User/Password as Admin or password (note password may be unique so check under the router for details.

When you are in your router you are able to update then. Usually it will search for you.

As I said in my post I have tried all that it wont let me log on. Not in the browser no matter which way I go to it to log on not even in the genie app.

I know all that. However as I said twice now I CANT log on. The site says page cant be reached and the genie app keeps saying router not found and not connected to the network. But we are using the wifi on our laptops and other mobile devices. I guess my account was compromised since I cant log on.
