Is it true that G4560 is as fast as i7-7700k in 4K gaming?

This video proves it is, but is this video accurate? what do you think? I think i7-7700k is under powered and its not worth buying if the video is accurate.

Solution
If your monitor is 60hz, and a G4560 can deliver 65fps whereas a 7700K can deliver 140fps, they'll give effectively the same performance because any frames beyond 60 per second will just be discarded. However, there are loads of games where a G4560 is not going to deliver a steady 60fps.

Resolution has nothing to do with CPU needs. In a game in which a G4560 will deliver only ~40fps average, that CPU will be able to deliver the same 40fps at 720P low settings and at 4K max settings. Graphical settings (for the most part) only affect the GPU.
Fake(or at least misleading) news.
The best case for a G4560 is a single threaded game(many are) where the G4560 clock rate is 3.5
The i7-7700K at stock has a clock of 4.2 with a 4.5 turbo.
In all cases, the 7700K is superior.
In the case shown in the video, the graphics card was the limiting factor, not so much the cpu.

Still considering the price differential, a G4560 is a very good budget cpu.

Moral of the story, dont trust any youtube benchmarks for cpus, gpus, gaming performance.

Best case scenario they cherry pick a situation where that product is going to have the results they want.
Worst case scenario the video is completely fake.

Its like saying this $20k car has as much passenger leg room as this $50k truck, thus the car must be all around equal or better at everything then the truck (obviously the truck can pull way more cargo and do way more then the car can, but the review just convinently left that out).
