Low fps on GTX 1080TI FTW3

What power supply are you using? A 7 series CPU and a 1080 GPU draws a good bit. I did a wattage calculator at Newegg with that CPU and GPU, using 16gigs of RAM a standard DVD/RW and a 7200RPM hard drive and it came out to 646 watts estimate. I am not sure if the blue hard drive is that speed, but dropping to a slower one didn't change the wattage too much.

Taking for granted your PSU isn't failing, that should be enough power for it. Hardware wise I don't see anything that should be an issue. When you say low frames, how low are you talking about?

GTA V avg fps is prob 60-70fps
League of Legends & CSGO = 110-130fps sometimes it dips
BF1 = 50-60fps

are you running the cpu stock at 1080p?


motherboard bios and drivers are up to date?


you ram is also only running at 2133, go into the bios and enable XMP profile
