So I built a Ryzen PC, and I installed the Chipset but where should I be looking to make sure they are installed?

at the moment I have Device Manager open and I have Processors open. if I right click and go to properties and then drivers it says Microsoft 2009

If I go down to System Devices, there is ACPI Fixed Feature Button, AMD GPIO controller AMD PCI and AMD SMbus all of those have AMD drivers from this year.

So... which is what?

please and thank you for your help!

if you open the Device Manager and there are no open flags... you did it!

When there are flags, goto the MoBo Support site and download ALL the current driver for the board and install all the newest for everything... No harm in overwriting existing, if you clear them.

So I shouldn't be concerned that for drivers under processors in device manager reads Microsoft 2009? I assumed it would say AMD if I installed the chipset.

Ok, there are no yellow flags and it did install the Ryzen Power Plan, I have the newest Bios for my Motherboard, and newest Display Drivers..

The Chipset drivers in stalled were from ones from AMD that come with the Power plan for Ryzen. On the Asus site, the chipset version is the older version than the one I installed last week.

I just wish it would say AMD 2017 and not Microsoft 2009 when I check drivers for processors in device manager >.> then my mind would be @ ease.
