Can i use the ballistix lt 16 gb 2666 ram with the ryzen 5 1600x and the x370 sli plus ?

now i am asking this question because of 2 reasons the first being that the msi x370 sli plus page says that the supported ram speeds are1866/ 2133/ 2400/ 2667(OC)/ 2933(OC)/ 3200(OC)+ Mhz
so my ram is 2666 mhz so why is it saying 2667 is it a typing error or what and i wanna know if the ryzen 5 1600x will support the 2666 ram and if it will be compatible with the x370 sli plus

the board will support any DDR4 RAM, but if the speeds are too much for the board or processor to handle they will usually default to the lowest speed the board supports. you would have to manually adjust the timings and speed to the highest supported frequency.

but yes, your board should run anything from 1866-3200Mhz, the "+" means you can possibly overclock passed that max frequency with a CPU that supports it.
