What kind of lag is this?

So I have recently been experiencing some form of lag that I have never been able to classify for a google search. Maybe someone could help define/solve this issue?
Toshiba Satellite Radius P55W-B
i7-4510U 2.00GHz 2.60GHz
12 GB RAM
Intel Integrated Graphics

This doesn't feel like freezing or studdering, it feels like fps dropping then returning to usual.

what you say is normal lag not an unusual lag, and that,s because of integrated graphic they are not made for gaming (your laptop), set the setting on med and if its not fixed set it on low, also lower the resolution if non of that helped

You won't be able to play much with those specs, especially your integrated GPU. What you're experiencing is called stuttering.

I have had this laptop for gaming for 2 years and this never happened on the same games, it only started recently.
