Which system is best value for money? Now it might seem like one of these options is better than the others but I don't think it's so clear cut! For me I think my combo would be a kaby motherboard and a skylake I5.
Here's my reasoning; by cutting down on the CPU you can spend more on things I want like GPU horsepower and RGB header mobo.
The thing about ryzen is that the motherboards are backwards compatible so older boards will depreciate even faster than the CPU! On the other hand, old Intel motherboards increase in value
As well, the chip I chose will be unlocked because those hold value very well just because of the presence of locked CPUs.
