I am going to build a watercooled system soon, but I'm not sure if these fittings will fit this tubing:
Tubing:
http://ttpremium.com/product/v-tubler-petg-tube-1000mm-4-pack/
Thermaltake V-Tubler PETG Tube 1000mm (4 pack)
– Outer Diameter: 5/8” (16mm)
– Inner Diameter: 3/8” (12mm)
– Length: 1000mm*4
Fitting:
http://www.performance-pcs.com/monsoon-hardline-economy-compression-fittings-1-2-x-5-8-12-pack-matte-black.html
Monsoon Hardline Economy Compression Fittings
– Outer Diameter: 5/8” (16mm)
– Inner Diameter: 1/2” (12mm)
Thermaltake's tubing has a 3/8 ID but is still 12mm, and Monsoon's Fitting is 1/2 ID but 12mm, too? I seen people say thermaltake makes very bad watercooling things, and you should never buy stuff from them, is this the reason why they said 3/8 is the same as 12mm? Also is all PETG tubing made of same material? I am using a UV cold cathode to glow my fluid, and UV light slowly breaks down plastic, so would Acrylic be more stronger against UV or would PETG be?
Thanks for reading, hopefully you can give me a answer!
