Hi guys!

I'm looking for a case that's under a 100 euros and under 410mm in height. I already have another case selected that I can use if this doesn't work out. Here are my requirements:

- It has to support full ATX motherboards and power supplies
- It has to support at least two 120mm fans in the front, at least one 120mm in the back and preferably another 120mm in the top.
- Now, this might be a hard one, but it needs to support an air cooler of 168mm in height.
- It needs support for graphics cards up to 30cm or more. (GIGABYTE RX580 Auros XTR 8gb)
- It needs to be able to contain two 2,5 Inch SSD's and one 3,5 Inch HDD.
- It needs to have a side window, preferably tempered glass.

If you have a suggestion, let me know.

Solution

Yes, that won't affect temps by much, though the airflow might get a very little bit affected due to gravity(completely negligible when it comes to temperatures - in fact, it's completely ridiculous to even list this as a factor. I don't know why I did this.)

You can do it, no problems. If you do that, you pretty much open a whole array of options.

It does quite exceed the budget. I believe the US MSRP is around 110 dollars, but here in the Netherlands (yes, that's where I live), it costs 169 euros so it's nearing double what I want to spend. Thanks for your suggestion though.

u got lucky spotted this one

1. Costs in various countries vary so when asking, good idea to say where.

2. TG is not cheap and to stay under 100, would require serious compromises elsewhere.

3. 16"H is going to severely limit options.

It also exceeds the height limit 416mm tall

460mm tall

Looking at all this, it seems there is no case that meets my requirements. So I wonder, is it possible for me to flip a case on its side (side window upwards) and still maintain the same (or similar) temps to a "normal" upright system? I came to this idea because of a Phanteks case concept on Computex this year. I believe it was called a Shift X. It was a very tall but slim mini-ITX system that could stand upright or flipped over, in more of a fashion of a TV-Box.

If it helps, my earlier mentioned pre-selected case is the Phanteks Enthoo Pro M Tempered Glass.

That would have been my recommendation without the height limit

When faced with similar requirements, we usually go to the Enthoo Evolv ITX

- < 100 euros Nope
- < 410mm 375
- It has to support full ATX motherboards and power supplies Nope
- It has to support at least two 120mm fans in the front, at least one 120mm in the back and preferably another 120mm in the top. 5 fan mounts
- Now, this might be a hard one, but it needs to support an air cooler of 168mm in height. 200mm
- It needs support for graphics cards up to 30cm or more. (GIGABYTE RX580 Auros XTR 8gb) 330mm
- It needs to be able to contain two 2,5 Inch SSD's and one 3,5 Inch HDD. Done
- It needs to have a side window, preferably tempered glass. has window

So if ya can adjust ya budget and find an ATX board you can live with, that would meet everything else.

The NZXT Source 530 has everything you seem to need - ATX support, 2 120 in the front, 1 120 in the back, 3 120 on the top, and a few more - a total of 9 fans supported. The CPU cooler height is 183 mm , the max length of GPU is 44.4 cm(without drive bay). It has enough drive support, and does have a side window, though small.

The Source is a tall case, 100mm higher than his limit.

Which is why I deleted the answer - I forgot about the height. There really isn't any case that meets all the requirements.
