I have 11 .cin files and I believe they're either a video or videos from 2005. I can't figure out how to open them. It's possible that the software to open these specific .cin files is proprietary (Kodak camera?).

Here is a screen shot of the files:

I've tried Photoshop, VLC, Windows Movie Maker (Win 7), XnViewMP, and File Viewer Plus. I haven't had luck with any of these.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Yes, they are from a Kodiak camera according to Google from the file format. I found a list of some Windows tools that should be able to open them.
File Viewer Plus
Adobe SpeedGrade CC 2017
Adobe Photoshop CC 2017
XnViewMP

Photoshop gives me an error that says "could not complete your request because the file-format module cannot parse the file." The rest of the programs you guys suggested won't work (as stated in the original message). I'm wondering if one or more of the files are corrupted since it laid dormant on a disk since 2005, but I'm not going to give up on it just yet.

Kind of late, but I tried it. It gives me an error:

Looking at the name of the files, they look like a video file, although they were from a back up disk and might be corrupt at this point, and maybe that's why they're unreadable. I don't want to give up though. :??:

Hmmm.... Would you mind inboxing me? I would like to get a file or two (if nothing confidential of course) and try to play with them a bit and see if we can crack your problem! c: Just let me know and I can try to help out.
