Hi, recently I bought and built a new pc.

I used a MSI Geforce GTX Gaming 1060 X 3GB.

Specs:

Intel Core i5-7400

MSI H270i Gaming PRO AC Motherboard

1TB Blue Harddrive by WD

Deepcool Maelstrom 120T CPU watercooler

Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ITX (Special Edition) case

Be Quiet! Pure Power 10 500W PSU

8GB RAM (4x2) CORSAIR

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

The thing is that once my GPU gets a bit hot 60+ celsius the fans are going full spin. The fans doesn't spin until it reaches 60 celsius.

After closing the game they won't stop spin until i turn my computer off again. I've tried waiting up to 1 hour, nothing happens.

I've tried controlling them with MSI GAMING APP & MSI AFTERBURNER but nothing works.

I've tried using default fan curve & custom fan curve in MSI AFTERBURNER but doesn't work.

The CD that came in the GPU Box couldn't be installed since my ITX pc doesn't have a CD DRIVE BAY.

So I installed the newest drivers that i could find on NVIDIA's website and I've tried MSI's drivers, while using DDU for uninstallation, but doesn't work. The RGB's on the side of the GPU does work tho.

So if anyone could help me it would be nice.

Thanks!

Solution
Anything else involves contacting MSI because futzing with the card itself to figure out the fans may void your warranty. At the very least just to ask if it's a hardware or a software issue.

If you can screenshot afterburner so it shows the currently selected fan curve, and the current gpu temperature and fan RPM, where you can point that RPM definitely doesn't correspond to the temperature, send it to MSI and see what they say. Certain versions of afterburner have had similar issues at times, but since you're running latest, just check in with them first. It could be a driver/afterburner issue but it could also be the card. If it's latter, they should give you RMA.
Oh and make sure you don't have any additional fan utilities running at the same time like SpeedFan or anything else (in case you were trying out several things).

Where do I download a BIOS update?
There is just MSI GAMING APP, MSI AFTERBURNER, MSI LIVE UPDATE & VR DOWNLOAD at the Utility link you sent.

I've done my last bios update with live update, and it's safer if you don't know how to update bios, but...I've had to reinstall windows after. I'm not saying that was due to live update, but just be aware that bios updates can be pretty extensive and can mess with your windows installation.
TLDR, backup first before bios updates.
