Hello!
I have an strange issue on MSI Z170A GAMING M7 board. I'm running i7 6700k on 4.6ghz (1,32v in bios, adaptive mode) and the thing is voltage is often going over 1,32v. I've tried both available options of llc in this board (auto and mode1) and it doesn't change anything. It happens in programs that are not stressing much cpu. Like games and others.
When running game for example voltage is fluctuating from 1,32v to 1,336 to 1,35v. When running stress program like realbench or p95 it's showing different vcore in hwinfo (1,324v) and different in cpu-z (about 1,304v)
My full spec is:
CPU :I7 6700k 4.6ghz (1.32v, 1,12 vccio, 1.12 vccsa)
GPU: MSI GTX 980Ti
MOBO :MSI Z170A GAMING M7
PSU : XFX Black Edition XTR 650W
RAM : Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2x8GB 3200mhz (running manually at 3000mhz 15-17-17-35, 1.35v which give me full stability on that cpu oc)
COOLER : NOCTUA NH-D15
Any ideas why is like this? Maybe there is an option in bios which causes this offset?
